PMD Legalisation Update #3 - Reaching Our Government

Reaching out to our politicians

Since our last update, Transport Minister Andrew Constance has alarmed us all with comments blaming a small minority of everyday Australians who use electric mobility devices, with comments such as “If you go an look at the rest of the world and what's going on around e-scooters, it’s a disaster.”

We are trying to educate our politicians, this week meeting with Senator Andrew Bragg. It was a productive time spent, with Senator Bragg committing to make representations on our behalf to Federal Transport Minister, Deputy Prime Minister Michael McCormack MP before the mid-year Transport Ministers Meeting.

We need your support for our next steps of the legalisation campaign.

Can you donate to our Fighting Fund to support our advocacy? For a limited time with our launch, donations over $100 will be recognised as a Foundation Donor on our website. You can make a tax-deductible donation towards our fund here.

We are incredibly grateful for all the support we have received so far!
